Summertime is pronounced Samaataimu. These days we just use English word as it is even in Japanese although we pronounce it differently.

Or we say ” kaki(夏期)”. Ka (夏)means summer. Ki (期)
    means time.

    If “summertime” means “summer season”,
    夏季 (kaki)=”summer season” or 夏(natsu)=”summer”.

If it means “daylight saving time”, 夏時間(natsu-jikan)=
    “summer- time.”
